Alpha Poll

In chat today there was a debate about whether we reset after the game leaves alpha state or not.
What's the benefit of this?
A few early adopters broke way ahead of everyone else and have an advantage.
Even playing field for everyone currently here.
There has been some trial and error changes, this would squash any incorrectly gained resources.
Some functionality has fundamentally changed. Gives us a fresh start.
I'll add a page with thanks to each of the Alpha testers who gave their time and adive to me.
ANY Diamonds purchased would be replaced. Would mean you can redistribute if you felt you spent them wrong ;)
I'm only stating the positive things behind this. I'm sure you all have your reasons to agree or disagree.

New UI

Big update today! I've created a new UI for the game. I hope you like it.
Fixed top lists only ranking the first 50 names alphabetically. now it'll show top 50 players out of all players correctly.
Added a button disable to the attack when you use it. If you'd like to see this added to any other area of the game, let me know.
Corrected an error in a check to see if the character is banned when it's alredy logged in.
Market no longer shows the "Your items" section, if you don't have any items on the market.
Made it no longer possible to sell equipped items.
Added logout button to top menu when logged in.
There have been changes to some client side scripting. I have updated the versioning, but please ensure your own caches are cleared, just in case!
Still working on mobile layout and custom item imagery for equipped items.
Security Change

I've had some reports of people being too impatient to wait for a security test to actually pass before hitting the submit button. This causes a ban as Google hadn't sent a response saying you're good yet.
What I've done now is removed the submit button. Instead, once you've passed the test, it will automatically disappear, saving you having to submit it yourself and negating this as a possible issue.
Please ensure your player state is up to date. Clear your cache, refresh the page, whateve ryou'd normally do to flush it out.
Additionally, I've made minor optimisations to the chat, so it should work a bit quicker.
Changes to multipliers

All special (diamond) items that provided a bonus to exp and skills have been buffed. Now, rather than adding +100% to the multiplier, they now multiply by x2. Note that gold remains 100% additional, not x2.
For example, the current standing algorithm for EXP is: G * (1 + ((((B * P) * S) * H) * E))
Compared to: G * (1 + ((((B * P) + 1) + 1) * E))
Gains were reduced to be additive rather than multiplicative during my testing. I hadn't taken into account that I had higher bonuses than average and therefore restricted the gains slightly.
This should help the grind seem more like you're accomplishing something! Have fun.
Daily Rewards

There is now a daily login reward for playing each day. Currently this is just 1 - 5 diamonds, but I'm eager to add in more varieties, so let me know what you'd like to see!
You must be over level 1,000 to receive the login bonus.
I've also made it do that the game remembers your username after you've logged in, so you'd only need to input your password next time you come back!
Password reset fix and market changes

Fixed an issue with resetting passwords when the player doesn't have a security key set.
Updated the market to have the type of item, and the shop cost of the item.
Plane bonuses

I've added in the plane bonuses and detriments. Midgard has no change, the primordial planes give more exp and the other 2 give gold. See help for the exact stats.
I've added in a message from the market whenever a new item is added to it.
Removed the 10% sale on the $200 diamond package. (Left over from testing it)
Fixed exploits and usability updates.

Fixed a highly abusable exploit where you could play on multiple sessions at once. If you try that now, you'll be hit with the attacking too quickly message, like intended. (previously not functioning quite right)
Fixed an issue with referrers not being set if the person signing up encountered a problem of any kind suring their signup process.
Word wrapped long chats so that it doesn't break the display on mobile.
added a max length to the chat input box so you cant input messages too long.
Beast changes and more!

The chance for randomly spawned beasts has been increased 40%.
Chances for tiered beasts has changed. Higher tiers are less common.
Gunnr has had the gold rewards increased 10x.
The 7500 diamond purchase "Mimir's Head" now also provides double levels additionally.
Added ability to see your sent PM's in chat.
Renamed Midgard monsters with appropriate names.
Numbered the monsters now that we're starting to have them all named different between areas, to help you remember where you are at.
Changed how defensive calculations are made. You could see up to 3x better defense for yourself now.
Fixed a security flag issue.
Added numbers to normal monsters, as we're now starting to put in real names for monsters on each plane.
Removed admin from all other top lists.

The bot test, while working accurately normally, if you let the timer run out there was an error occuring. This left users in a limbo state where they'd never get another security test. This has been fixed so it can no longer be abused. In doing so, It no longer adds a public message about the ban, so the bans for failing tests are currently silent.
