Valkyries Fall

Valkyries are beasts that can appear randomly in the cosmos! Any action that players take in game, from fighting normal monsters, to moving around the map, has a chance to spawn a beast; when one appears, a message will appear in chat showing everyone the type, grade and location of the beast. This chance to find a beast is entirely random but can be improved via the Hunting Skill, which is primarily raised by attacking beasts.

Beasts are unique enemies that have large amounts of health that does not recover if you are slain in battle. This means that many players may attempt to kill the same beast at the same time and normally, only the person who lands the killing blow will receive the spoils of that slain beast. Note: Rarely, the same beast may be slain by multiple players at the same time... in this case all players who receive credit for the kill will also receive rewards.

Each beast has a Grade, indicating how strong it is and the value of its rewards; Feeble are the weakest and Mythological are the strongest! Each grade has 10x the health of the previous grade.
Feeble beasts have 100-million hitpoints, Adepts however have 1-billion HP! A beasts power directly corresponds to it's health. The more you attack it, the weaker it gets and in turn, will attack you for less damage!

Feeble beasts can only appear in the standard realms, allowing all players to target them.

In addition to their unique rewards, all beasts have the potential to drop Ultimate Equipment. Ultimate equipment can be upgraded up to ★★★★★. Dependant on the grade of beast you kill, you can get different ★ equipment. Each beast can drop a ★ equivalent to its grade or 1 below it. For example, a Mighty beast can drop ★★ & ★★★.

All beasts also have a chance to leave behind a Valkyrie Shard if no Ultimate Equipment was found on their corpse. Valkyrie Shards are a currency that may be spent at the Beastiary to create 1★ Ultimate Equipment, reset your beast limits or even purchase powerful and unique quest items!
